Our new collection entitled "City Dwellers" pays homage to the label's place of birth, Istanbul. A never-ending source of inspiration, Istanbul is a city like no other. It's a place of contrasts, where you can simultaneously feel like you're in a complete state of frenzy and serenity. The collection draws on these contrasting elements with soft flowing sleeves and peasant dresses, mixed with more structured and boxy silhouettes. The pieces are built to be seasonless staples, but with charismatic details. The collection also features a print by Australian artist Hannah Rae Powell. The print derived from her series of illustrations entitles "Cosmos" which looks at the intertwining issues surrounding relationships and mental health.

We shot the campaign on the streets of Eminönü, a bustling neighbourhood of Istanbul that was historically a major trade port for the city during the Ottoman Empire. Nowadays, the area is made up of a number of marketplaces (bazaars) and attracts thousands of locals and tourists buying anything and everything from spices, to miniature rabbits. We spent the day strolling the streets shooting amongst the local shops and restaurants. The infamous Turkish hospitality proved true to form with endless warm welcomes and hot tea offerings a plenty.
