- Our Impact
We think the world already has enough textiles in it.
When we launched OhSevenDays, fabric was our biggest obstacle. Like most independent brands starting out, our first season was a blur of negotiating for sample quantities on the empty promise that we'd come back and buy in bulk.
That struggle led us somewhere unexpected: the garment factories around Istanbul, where we saw firsthand how much excess fabric gets discarded every season. It became clear that this surplus wasn't a problem to work around — it could be the foundation for a better way to build our brand.
We started by sourcing through deadstock middlemen, but we've since moved to working directly with the fabric mills themselves. It's given us far greater transparency into where our materials actually come from, and let us scale without losing sight of why we started this way in the first place.
How We Source
We work with OEKO-TEX certified mills producing fabric that carries some of the industry's most recognized certifications:
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
OCS (Organic Content Standard)
European Flax
Our Philosophy
The fashion industry is one of the largest polluters on the planet, and there's no single fix — it takes brands and consumers moving together. Rather than add another product to an already saturated industry, we'd rather work with what already exists. Using the leftovers is our small way of contributing to a more circular, less wasteful future.

Fabrics
We aim to source fabrics that have had a life before it came to us — deadstock rolls, factory overstock, and offcuts that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. We receieve them from mills and factories that have more fabric than they can use, and give each one a second chapter. Below, you learn a litte bit more about where each one came from, what it's made of, and how many pieces it's helped bring into the world.
